Hell yes, you can. In fact, we encourage any visitors over the age of 21 to stop into Diego Pellicer! Just don’t attempt to bring that mary-jane home with you. Crossing state lines is illegal — even if you’re going into another state that has legalized cannabis.
According to I-502, each transaction in a 24 hour period is limited to:
- One ounce of usable cannabis (a joint, buds, etc)
- ¼ ounce or 7 grams of cannabis-infused extracts that are used for inhalation (oils and vape juices)
- Sixteen ounces of a cannabis infused product in solid form, such as chocolates, cookies, or candies.
- Seventy-two ounces of cannabis infused products in liquid form (such as our Happy Apple, Pearl Water, etc.)
All marijuana sales must take place in a licensed facility.
Customers can purchase up to one ounce (28 grams) of cannabis flower at a time. The limit for concentrates is seven grams; for edibles it is 16 ounces of a solid edible (such as chocolate bars, mints, etc,.); and for liquids it is 72 ounces. This is also the limit you can have on your person at any time. If you have any more than this, it's possible the law will see this as "intent to distribute" and impose jail time or a hefty fine.
Possession by adults of over one ounce to 40 grams (about 1.5 ounces) can result in being charged with a misdemeanor. Possession of more than 40 grams is considered a Class C Felony. Medical marijuana patients, however, can have up to 24 ounces of marijuana and grow up to 15 plants as long as they have a valid prescription from their doctor of a valid medical card.
Sorry, but no. All of our marijuana products are sealed, and it is federally illegal for us to give anything in our stores away for free. We can reassure you, however, that our budtenders are crazy talented when it comes to helping people pick out strains and products they’re sure to love.
Afraid not. All of our products have to stay in their packaging prior to purchase.
We do not accept returns of weed or edibles, even if they are still in their packaging. You may bring back any broken cartridge within 5 days of the original purchase. You MUST have the cartridge, the original packaging, and your receipt.
Marijuana may be legal, but there are actually dozens of complicated laws regulating its distribution. It is federally illegal for us to give anything away for free in our stores — even water bottles.
Only if you want to go to jail! Only licensed merchants can legally sell marijuana. Everyone else who sells any form of marijuana is violating the law and could face some serious jail time.
You can purchase buds, trim, and oils. The only part of the cannabis plant that you can NOT purchase is the seeds. It is federally illegal to sell or purchase seeds from a cannabis plant.
It’s definitely possible. According to RCW 69.50.445, it is unlawful for anyone to open a package containing marijuana, usable marijuana, or consume any form of marijuana product in view of the general public. In general, smoking marijuana in public is treated much the same way as public drunkenness, which is typically a fine between $350 - $3,500. Jail time is a possibility.
Nope. You cannot open, smoke, or consume any of the products purchased from Diego Pellicer (or those purchased anywhere else) on our property. Diego Pellicer is considered a public setting.
Only on private property. We recommend that our customers enjoy their merchandise in the comfort of their own homes.
It is federally illegal to grow marijuana in the state of Washington unless you have the appropriate licensing to do so.
